Trip to the Maldives

Trip to the Maldives

The Maldives are without and doubt heaven on Earth. Unfortunately, they are slowly sinking due to the rising sea level. So, don’t lose your opportunity and visit these incredible islands now!

Here are a few tips about the trip to the Maldives: what do do and where to go! The Maldives is a haven for snorkellers and scuba divers, with its abundance of coral and sea

life. Its beaches and hotels don’t disappoint either.

  • Where are the Maldives?

The Maldives is a group of over 1000 coral islands, set in the Indian Ocean. They are located on the south-west coast of India.

  • Where can I stay?

It’s hard to beat the perfect combination of white sandy beaches, perfect blue seas and tropical sun and most hotels in the Maldives make the most of their surroundings by offering guests access to the beach directly from their rooms, or creating romantic areas for dinner and drinking. Boutique hotels go a step further than this by creating a relaxed, contemporary feel that makes guests feel right at home.

On the Ari Atoll lies the most exclusive hotel in the island group, the Dhoni Mighili. This stunning hotel sleeps just twelve people, and guests arrive either by luxury speedboat, private plane or romantic Dhoni. A butler sees to your every need. Eat, drink and sleep to your own schedule and make the most of every minute.

Or, if the North Male Atoll is more to your taste, the Hufaven Fushi is a decadent boutique hotel just 25 minutes by speedboat from the Male International Airport. Relax by your private pool, because there’s only your villa and one other on the whole complex. If you want a candlelit dinner on the beach, just say so. This experience is worth every penny!

  • What can I see?

The islands that make up the Maldives are all small, and it is a good idea to visit more than one!. Many people come for the diving and snorkelling, but it may be worthwhile taking a trip to Male, the capital city, where markets, mosques and small shops may bring you back to everyday life. Otherwise, just take in the beauty of the coastlines and the ocean from your boutique retreat and soak up the sun. There is also fantastic wildlife! You can see sharks, dolphins and much more!

  • How do I get around?

Only some of the islands fall within the heavily regulated tourist zone, which the Government has imposed to prevent the destruction of natural landscapes and villages. If you want to move between permitted islands, then you can fly or use a dhoni or speedboat. Most islands, however, are small enough to walk or bike around easily.

The Maldives might be exclusive, but if you have the time and you are prepared to indulge yourself, then there’s nowhere better to go.

It is truly the paradise on Earth!

On the very south-western tip of England lies the beautiful county of Cornwall. With a delightful mix of superb beaches (among the best in Britain), outstanding scenery and charming towns, villages and cities, Cornwall have something to offer every traveler.

Despite the wealth of attractions & scenic beauty on offer, Cornwall has many affordable hotels, B&Bs & guesthouses to suit the budgets of all holidaymakers.

Cornwall is also Britain’s premier surfing capital – not surprising given that it enjoys the best weather anywhere in the country. It also has some of the cleanest beaches and attracts visitors by the millions every year.

Whether it’s lazing on lovely white beaches, ambling along wonderful sub-tropical gardens or exploring quiet, picture-perfect fishing villages you’re after, you’ll find it all when you visit Cornwall.

The famous King Arthur is also believed to have come from Cornwall, in a small town called Tintagel. Cornish history is mystical, ancient and highly fascinating. The many delightful towns and villages are often named after the Christian missionaries that have influenced them.

Like your food and drink? Cornish pubs are known for offering good hearty foods and your choice of flavorsome ales. And let’s not forget the “Cornish pasty” – a tasty must-have meat pie that must be experienced when visiting Cornwall.

Holidays In Devon

Devon is famously known to offer the traveler a feast of splendid scenery, lovely beaches, and pretty harbor towns. Popular destinations within Devon include Plymouth, Torbay and Dartmoor National Park.

Devon is also a walkers paradise, and like neighboring, Cornwall is one of the most popular holiday destinations within the United Kingdom. And it’s very easy to see why – lush pastures break out into spectacular coastlines, makinDevon a Mecca for those hunting for a taste of quaint old England.

While enjoying a holiday in Devon, be sure to experience the wonderfully rugged coastline scenery. Devon is also blessed with some stunning countryside – charming narrow little roads amble on for miles with nothing but lush greenery and flora that offers a myriad of explosive colors during the summertime. Driving through these single-lane roads is an experience like no other – arrive in a Devon town that’s dotted with charming thatched cottages and enjoy a cream tea and scone in one of the many tea-shops.

Devon offers the traveler a classic English village experience – and there are many great hotels, B&Bs and many more types of accommodation to cater to the needs of both the luxury traveler and budget-conscious backpacker.

Devon also offers some of the best year-round weather to be found anywhere in the UK. Temperatures in January (when the rest of the country is shivering) average a maximum of 9 degrees.

If you enjoy coasts & estuaries then a holiday in Devon will delight you – the estuaries (such as the Teign) also attract many species of migratory birds.

The Resort

Val D’Isère is a long thin resort which combined with Tignes forms part of the vast Espace Killy, ranked amongst the top 5 luxury ski holidays in Europe.

The central area is made up of Val Village, where everyone gathers at night for very lively après-ski, and the satellite mini-resorts of La Daille and Le Fornet are all linked by a free bus service. La Daille, the first village you will encounter upon leaving the last tunnel is close to some great slopes whilst Le Fornet sits at the far end of the Isere valley.

Considered by many to be a premier ski resort Val D’Isère offers outstanding skiing from late November to early May and is the perfect choice for intermediates and advanced skiers. Its ideal ski conditions, guaranteed snow and lively atmosphere off the slopes make it a perfect draw for all. Renowned for its après ski activities concentrated around Rue Principale, Val D’Isère entertainment ranges from lively bars to exquisite tea rooms. With neighboring Tignes, this region is one of Europe’s key winter playgrounds.

Val D’Isère is also a great family resort with plenty of local nurseries and ski schools catering for children of all ages. Other activities include dog sledding, snowmobiling, and paragliding.

On the Snow in France

The combined area is collectively known as Espace Killy. There are 90 ski lifts, 300km runs, and a modern hands-free lift pass system. Eight entry points provide access to the mountain including the high-speed gondola from the village center and the underground funicular from La Daille. From here a network of pistes and lifts lead towards Tignes on one side and on the other Rocher du Charvet. The OK downhill course, also from the top of Bellevarde is a moderately demanding but enjoyable route down to La Daille.

Due to the quality of the snow allowing for outstanding powder skiing Val D’Isère is the home of off-piste skiing and free ride. Those prepared for some serious off-piste skiing will find themselves spoilt for choice by the variety of pistes. Hire the experience of a local guide and try the Face du Charvet, a steep powder classic accessed from the Grand Pré chair.

The lift system at Val D’Isère is both fast and efficient, a good choice for borders – plus there are very few drag-lifts. There’s is also a terrain park just above La Daille gondola, offering excellent facilities for both park beginners and experts. Luxury European Vacations in Paris Made Easy

Luxury European Vacations in Paris Made Easy

Have you been to the romantic city of Paris? Oh, surely you will love the sights that this city has in store for singles like you. There is nothing to worry about traveling alone in Paris. There are a number of people who opt to catch the romantic view of this well-known city. More so, Paris has been a witness to several whirlwind romantic encounters which have ended blissfully.

Why not take this opportunity to meet your Mr. or Ms. Right? You can never tell what your destiny has planned for you. Or you may travel with your family and friends and enjoy the overwhelming feeling brought about by a luxury European vacation.

Going to the City’s Awesome Sights

For most people, being on a foreign land may be a risky or frightening experience. But it must not be the same thing in your case. Finding your way around the city can’t be that threatening. There are various public and private transportations that may be taken at any time. Moreover, maps are widely sold in the travel shops and they are offered for very affordable prices.

Here are the transportation options that you may consider as you go to the various tourist destinations all over Paris.

The cabs. This public transportation can be hailed at any time. Usually, the hotel assistants will call the cab drivers for you. There are three kinds of tariffs as imposed by the taxi operators. Class “A” is the cheapest of all, class “B” is quite expensive, and class ”C” is the most pricey. The minimum rate charged by a taxi is around 5.10 Euros so you better watch out for those who may take advantage of tourists like you.

The buses. Bus stations can easily be tracked down. A comprehensive list of the bus stops is commonly displayed in the stations along with the routes followed and the departure time as well. The bus station services are available from Monday up to Saturday although some operators work even on Sundays and the holidays. You don’t have to worry about traveling at night since the service is mostly extended up to midnight.

The metro and the RER. The metro has 14 lines all in all. These lines are all color-coded for the passengers’ proper guidance. On the other hand, the Reseau Express Regional or RER consists of 5 lines. They are named as lines A, B, C, D, and E and are open for services from 5:00 am up to 1:10 am. If you want to travel for a shorter time and get rid of the traffic, you better take the RER.

Private cars. They are the ones which may be hired so that you will no longer suffer from stress as a result of transferring from one transportation to another. It is either you hire a driver or drive the car by yourself. The main requirement though is that you should be at least between 21 up to 25 years of age and with a national driving license too.

Why miss the chance of getting to Paris for a luxury European vacation? Touring the city is generally convenient with the number of transportation options. Nonetheless, a Parisian adventure is nonetheless one remarkable memory to dwell into!
